Well, all, it is official. It seems I have already created a rupture in our short lived relationship. I did not keep my commitment to post weekly. And that kind of “rupture” as it is known in the psychotherapeutic community could cost me your trust.
Relationships (no matter what form they take) are never perfect. In fact,
all relationships experience fractures and disruptions. But just like a broken arm, fractured relationships can be fixed.
A “Rule of thumb” as my teacher and mentor, Dr. Garry Landreth, often spoke about in his lectures and writings:
“What’s most important may not be what you do, but what you do after what you did!”
With that, I say to you – I am sorry for not following through on my commitment to you. I will do better.
