Relationships shape the quality of our lives. We spend more time thinking about, pursuing, worrying, and participating in relationships than in any other aspect of our lives. To thrive individually we need safe, connected, satisfying, trusting relationships. Our approach to therapy is about the relationship between the therapist and the client. We work with people to discover what is keeping them from establishing and keeping the relationships they want and need and we do it in the context of the relationship so the therapy is the laboratory for learning what needs to be learned and practiced. Mindfulness practices, self-compassion, interpersonal neurobiology, and attachment practices are all utilized in this process.
